Starts with socialising over a cup of tea from 6:30 - 7:00 p.m., before moving on to club notices, raffle, show and tell table, and a demonstration. See the calendar for a list of demonstrations.
The show and tell table is open to everyone, for woodturning of any quality, or any items of interest which are then discussed to help all of us learn.
(Non-members welcome)

Woodcarving Lessons
Roy Malpass is an experienced hand wood carver in the European tradition. He tutors attendees Saturdays from 1 to 3pm. $10 per session for hand carving tutoring.

For those twelve to eighteen.
Dedicated tutoring on Fridays from 4 to 6pm.
Free trial, then youth rates apply.
Youth and families are also welcome during open workshop hours.

West Auckland Woodturners Guild is a charitable trust. Our aims are to:
- Foster the skills of woodcraft among the local community
- Promote the appreciation for and the creative use of wood
- Promote fellowship among woodcrafters
- Assist members to improve their skills and art of woodcraft
- Encourage interest of the craft among the young
- Offer a practical means of utilising leisure time among members of the community
